What is your poster print turnaround time?
Poster print is completed within 24-72 hours. Files are prepared for print same day.

What if my order is delayed?
No worries! It's a very slim chance your poster order will be delayed.
Delays on poster print are only 24 to 48 hours at the most. |
What does full bleed print mean?
Full bleed printing is a feature that allows you to print on 100% of the surface. There is zero additional charge for this service with BlockbusterPrint©. Other online or local printers might limit or not allow you to print high resolution images on your posters. They might even charge 30-50% more for a full bleed job or they may be incapable of doing it all together. Not at BlockbusterPrint.com. We've got you covered free of charge! What does full color print mean?
Full color print means there is no limit to the number of colors there are in your design. If you've noticed, most posters have plain black text or maybe a 2nd color. This is because printers are still using out dated printing machines. I see you offer 2 paper options for poster printing, why?
Excellent question. We are the only online printer to offer 2 paper options for posters. The first is the standard 100lb. paper which is exactly what you are imagining. It's what we are used to seeing growing up. It can be easily rolled up and packed in a tube if shipped or stored away. The 2nd paper option is the super thick and glossy 14pt. card stock with free UV gloss coating which is used for products such as flyers and postcards. It is very durable and is more ideal for higher end jobs. If you're looking to impress then the 15pt. poster is the way to go. |
What is 100lb. gloss text paper?
The 100lb. paper is a paper stock that brochures are usually printed on. It has very minimal see through visibility meaning you wont see the images from the back side while viewing the front side. It's a sturdy paper and excellent for high quality brochures and posters. It's what we are used to seeing growing up. It can be easily rolled up and packed in a tube if shipped or stored away. |
What is UV Gloss Coating?
UV gloss coating is a varnish that is applied to your 15pt. poster to give a rich, vivid, deep, contrasting shine and feel. This free service comes standard on all posters at BlockbusterPrint©. What if i do not want UV Gloss Coating?
UV Gloss Coating is a service that comes standard only on the 15pt. paper option on all poster print. If you do not wish to have UV Gloss coating on your printed product then the 100lb. paper is ideal for you. Studies have show that there is less of a chance your customer will throw out a poster or advertisement when printed with gloss. It grabs their attention more since the colors are richer and more vibrant thus appealing to them which is exactly what you are looking to do. Your competitors are probably ahead of the game with high UV gloss. Don't be left behind. First impression is everything! |
What does 14pt., 15pt. & 16pt. Card Stock mean?
This is what is used to describe the thickness of a poster in the printing world. Our 15pt card stock has a thickness of about 50% more than your traditional posters. It's about half the thickness of a credit card or an exact thickness of a baseball card. Posters with UV Gloss Coating can grow to a beautiful 16pt card stock. We use some of the thickest card stock in the industry while others are still using the flimsy 12pt. stock. |
Will i receive proofs prior to printing?
Sorry. We do not send proof samples. Since we use the highest quality printing machines our colors are 99% accurate so customers have learned to trust that their product will come out looking as sharp as it was designed.
