The 100lb. Linen Cover has a textured feel to it and is typically used for elegant designs and looks. SPOT UV EFFECT

WHAT IS SPOT UV GLOSS? Spot UV is available for front and back application or either side of choice. Spot UV is an effect that only applies gloss to certain areas, making your business card pop and add slight dimension to it.

Let's look at the examples on the right. The first image is of your basic designed artwork that you wanted printed. Let's say that you only want Spot UV on just the flowers. You would prepare your files with an all white background and completely cover the areas you wish to have spot uv applied to, in all black.

In this case, the flowers. Your final product will have a shine on gloss applied to just the flowers giving it a super cool and unique effect.

HOW TO PREPARE FILES FOR SPOT UV

1) Make sure your business card has the proper dimensions of 3.5x2 at 300dpi. Designs with full bleed (borderless print) must have an extra .125" all around. (Example: 3.625x2.125)

2) Prepare your spot uv file correctly as seen in the 2nd example. This will tell us where you wish to have gloss added. If you have a 1-sided card then you will need to submit 2 files. The full color file and spot uv file.

3) Simply upload your files on the next page in the directed fields.

ROUNDED CORNER BUSINESS CARDS

The rounded corners have a 1/8" shave to them. Which is also .125" in radius. It's a slight curve. It's not too round so it still keeps a professional and elegant look as you see in the example to the right.

Rounded corner business cards require a larger canvas size template. Download the rounded corner template or submit your file at 3.75" x 2.25"
